Special Programs

For Speech, Language, Physical and Occupational Therapy

ATS offers many different programs throughout the year to meet differing therapy needs and parent trainings that allow you control over your child’s progress.

Special Programs being offered currently include:

1. Parent Boot Camp – short one-time classes on different topics.
2. Intensive Summer Programs
3. Online Speech Therapy
4. Intensive Apraxia Therapy – one on one, scheduled 3-4 times a week.
5. Handwriting Without Tears – prerequisite, for preschoolers
6. Auditory Processing Therapy using Earobics
7. Pre-literacy programs (LIPS)
8. Cochlear Implant therapy
9. Articulation Groups
   Practice sound production, social practice and real life conversational situations, intensive instruction on sound production, reduced cost but the with low group numbers, peer accountability, and a master’s level therapist expertise. Groups will meet 2X/week for 4 weeks per session. Groups will be:
   i-chat K-2nd graders – 2 children
   i-chat 1st-3rd graders – 4 children
   i-chat 4th-6th graders – 4 children
   Students must have already been identified with a speech-articulation delay with goals targeted for speech sound production. Best candidates for this service are students with “articulation-only’ delays and 1-3 sounds that need refinement. Due to group dynamics of this class, no refunds or make-up sessions are available. Please come to each session.

10. Preschool Social Language Groups for ages 3-6
    Designed for students who have high level verbal skills but need assistance with social interaction skills. Ages 3 - 6 will be seen for 30 min. sessions. 6 week sessions.. Please call for specific class times.
11. Social Language Skills Groups for ages 7-14
    Designed for students who have high level verbal skills but need assistance with social interaction skills. For ages 7 to 14, for 50 min. sessions. These would be broken into smaller different age-matched groups.
